Job Description

Sutherland is seeking an experienced Mail Operations/SOC/email Abuse Manager!

This position is onsite, based in Cairo or Alexandria, Egypt. In this role, you will drive client success, delivery excellence, and strategic growth for email operations, spam/abuse mitigation, along with Trust & Safety programs.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Serve as the primary client interface, managing governance, reporting, and strategic alignment
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of email operations, ensuring SLA, quality, and compliance adherence
  • Analyze trends, risks, and performance metrics using Splunk-driven insights to guide decision-making
  • Manage multi-vendor ecosystems and ensure alignment across global stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and email security standards
  • Support business growth through solutioning, upsell opportunities, and thought leadership

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in email operations / Trust & Safety / SOC / security operations
  • Must be open to working onsite (Cairo or Alexandria location)
  • Deep expertise in SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email ecosystems
  • Strong hands-on experience with Splunk
  • Proven experience managing global clients and 24x7 operations
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
