Accenture is hiring full-time employees to work as a Content Reviewer on a fixed-duration project for one of our global leading clients.

As a Content Reviewer, you should have an interest in protecting and improving user experience of consumer products and services. You should be a Team Player, willing to develop a critical understanding of the abuse and policy issues and be comfortable reviewing large volume of apps to help us keep our store policy complaint. 

  • Perform a wide variety of application policy reviews. 

  • Take action on violating apps. 

  • Master policy knowledge to ensure high quality app reviews. 
     

Content moderators serve as an important line of defence by helping improve the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on job experience. You will deliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society.

You will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing user profiles, audio, videos, and text-based content and/or investigating, escalating and/or resolving issues that are reported by users or flagged by the system. Due to the nature of the role, the individual may be exposed to flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns.

Content moderation is meaningful work that helps keep the internet safe. It may also be challenging, at times. In the context of this role, individuals may be directly or inadvertently exposed to potentially objectionable and sensitive content (e.g., graphic, violent, sexual, or egregious). Therefore, content moderators need strong resilience and coping skills. We care for the health and well-being of our people and provide the support and resources needed to perform their role responsibilities. Active participation in Accenture’s well-being support program, designed specifically for the Trust & Safety community, provides valuable skills to promote individual and collective well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities 
 

Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Review, classify and/or remove content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels

  • Perform high quality reviews.  

  • Take quality feedback and work on it. 

  • Maintain the turnaround time on app reviews. 

  • Keep up to date on policy changes. 

  • Provide reverse feedback on policies and apps. 

  • Ability to escalate when needed according to the process. 

  • Understand and remain updated on changing client policies and guidelines

  • Investigate, resolve, and relay complex content issues to the broader Trust and Safety team

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve quality and efficiency of work

  • Participate in continuous training programs and workgroup discussions for optimal development in the role

  • Engage in conversation around socially sensitive topics with the purpose of keeping our communities safe  

** Due to the nature of this role, the post holder might regularly be exposed to and have to deal with stroboscopic effect images.**

Skills & Experience 

  • Excellent comprehension, communication, and Portuguese language skills

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in any field. 

  • Should clear basic English language proficiency test. 

  • Computer savvy, technologically capable – especially web browsers, and data entry skills (Able to run virus and spyware scans). 

  • Ability to read and interpret text requests accurately. 

  • Proactive with a strong work ethic. 

  • Adaptable to learning new processes, concepts, and skills. 

  • Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team adding positive attitude and business focus. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. 

  • Ability to manage a team of multi-cultural analysts in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Should be able to deal with sensitive material including sexual images, child pornography and hate and violence. 

  • Ability to keep up to date with knowledge of current affairs (specifically American culture). 

  • Should be able to navigate, search and download apps from client play store on the appropriate devices including experience using and downloading Android-based apps.

  • Ability to perform duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs, in the best interest of client policies

Eligibility 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a professional work environment. 

  • EU Citizen or Stamp 1G/4 visa (no sponsorship). 

  • Fluency in desired language (and English). 

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality of work. 

  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn. 

  • Good knowledge of internet and associated technologies. 

  • Must be over 18 years of age

Please note that a minimum requirement in order to be successful for this role is to have a documented completion of a Leaving Certificate or High School equivalent.  

**Must be comfortable reviewing sensitive content including graphic pornography, violence, drug use, child abuse, etc. The majority of your time will be spent on general content music, sports, beauty, fashion, kids, etc. but you will come across some sensitive content on a weekly basis.**
