We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to guide and mentor our Quality Control/Quality Consultant team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving quality excellence, ensuring adherence to standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and empowering your team to deliver exceptional results. You will play a key role in shaping the quality strategy and contributing to the overall success.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Control Analysts and/or Quality Consultants.
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
Manage team workload, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal team productivity.
Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate relevant opportunities.
Quality Strategy and Implementation:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall quality control strategy.
Ensure the consistent application of quality standards, guidelines, and procedures across relevant workflows.
Drive the adoption of best practices in quality monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in quality management.
Quality Monitoring and Analysis Oversight:
Oversee the team's quality monitoring activities, ensuring thorough and accurate evaluations.
Review and analyse team-generated quality data and reports to identify overarching trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of key quality metrics to relevant stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Standardization Leadership:
Champion process improvement initiatives within the team, leveraging quality insights to drive positive change.
Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement standardized processes and quality controls.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
Serve as a key point of contact for quality-related matters for internal stakeholders and potentially clients.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding team performance, quality trends, and improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with other team leaders and managers to ensure alignment on quality goals and strategies.
Compliance and Governance Oversight:
Ensure the team's adherence to internal quality standards, client-specific requirements, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Support internal and external quality audits and ensure the team's preparedness.
Promote a strong understanding of compliance requirements within the team.
Consultation and Expertise (for Quality Consultant focus):
Provide expert guidance and consultation to operational teams on quality control methodologies and best practices.
Support the development and implementation of tailored quality frameworks for specific projects or clients.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on quality-related topics.
Act as a change agent to embed a quality-focused mindset.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Any graduate
Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, with demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic improvements.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality excellence.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency 1 in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor).
Experience with data visualization and analysis tools.
Experience in client-facing roles and managing quality expectations.
Strong project management skills.
