About the Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Brand Protection Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be a pivotal figure in leading a dedicated team focused on combating intellectual property violations, digital piracy, deepfakes, and privacy breaches - upholding the integrity of renowned brands and public figures across the digital landscape.

This is a hands-on leadership role that demands both tactical and strategic thinking. Day to day, you will drive operational excellence and ensure your team delivers exceptional value to clients. At the same time, you will be expected to think critically about process improvements, identify how the team can work smarter, and contribute to the broader direction of brand protection practices. You will own team performance, client escalations, and quality of delivery - while keeping one eye on how things can be done better.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and Support Your Team Daily - Manage a team of Brand Protection Specialists and Senior Specialists, providing day-to-day guidance, clear direction, and hands-on support to keep the team running smoothly and delivering high-quality work.

  • Keep Operations on Track - Oversee workflows and quality standards, address issues as they arise, and identify practical improvements to how the team operates.

  • Own Escalations and Client Communication - Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns and complex cases, resolving issues efficiently and keeping stakeholders informed.

  • Manage Workload and Coverage - Balance team capacity across competing priorities, handle ad-hoc requests, and step in directly when needed to maintain service continuity.

  • Develop and Mentor the Team - Lead onboarding for new joiners, support ongoing skill development, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Respond to High-Priority Incidents - Handle urgent and sensitive situations with composure, coordinating with relevant teams to minimise client impact and reach fast resolutions.

  • Maintain Documentation and Compliance - Keep team processes, guides, and documentation accurate and up to date, ensuring all actions meet legal and compliance standards.

  • Contribute to Strategic Direction - Bring ground-level operational insight into broader planning and process conversations where relevant.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in brand protection, trust & safety, or content moderation

  • 2+ years in a leadership or team management role, overseeing high-performing operational teams

  • Proven experience handling intellectual property enforcement, digital piracy, impersonation, deepfakes, or online privacy issues

  • Experience working in client-facing roles, managing escalations and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong operational mindset with experience improving workflows, processes, and efficiency

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive, high-stakes scenarios with sound judgment

  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Workspace, and web-based investigation tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent English)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail

  • Experience creating training materials, onboarding programs, and operational documentation
