About the team
The Global TikTok Short Video Safety Operations (VSO) Planning Team will serve as the hub of operational excellence, responsible for evaluating and executing impactful global initiatives, creating comprehensive reporting structures, delivering data-driven insights, and optimizing resource allocation within the EMEA region.

The Capacity & Allocation team periodically engages with multiple stakeholders-including Product, Algo, DS, and other OPS function teams — to collect updated business targets, validate product growth projections, and assess moderation team performance. Our team consolidates and analyzes these inputs, translating them into concrete capacity targets. These targets are delivered to downstream teams in a timely manner to ensure targets are met before deadlines, while providing sufficient moderation support to accommodate changes from product side.

What will I be doing?

- You are responsible for resource planning for multiple teams/business areas including business needs analysis to predict and prepare for workload increases or fluctuations.
- You will be real-time monitoring workloads and queues across multiple teams, adjusting resourcing as required to maintain performance.
- You analyse data to review workload and performance trends, continuously looking for areas of improvement.
- Managing capacity delivery schedules and use data-driven analysis to model various deployment scenarios
- Working with both platform Product Managers and development teams in the design of capacity monitoring and reporting tools
- Working with data analytics team to improve capacity forecast models
- Performing ad-hoc region or issue level analyses to determine the best allocation of capacity

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- You come with previous experience of large-scale capacity planning/resource allocation
- You pay attention to detail - comfortable using data to analyse performance and using insight to drive performance.
- You are experienced in cross functional stakeholder collaboration as well as senior stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in a BPO / Social Media / Call center environment is an advantage.
- Proven leadership/team management experience is an advantage.
