About HeySakhi

HeySakhi is a real-time conversation platform built around one simple promise: Someone’s free. Right now.

Users can discover available hosts, called Sakhis, and connect through real-time conversations in Kannada, Hindi and Telugu. Our platform aims to create a trusted, transparent and rewarding experience for both callers and hosts.

Sakhis are verified women who can earn from home, with a published 50% share of every call and same-day payments.

We are building a more transparent and trustworthy experience in a growing social and audio conversation category.

About the Role

We are looking for a Co-Founder and Head of Product, Growth and Trust & Safety to join the founding team and help shape HeySakhi's product, business strategy and growth.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who understands consumer social platforms, audio conversations, live streaming, creator communities or marketplace businesses. You will work closely with the founders, take ownership of key business decisions and help build the company from an early stage.

You will lead four critical areas: product strategy, growth and go-to-market, trust and safety, and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Development

• Define the product roadmap and translate business goals into product priorities.
• Improve the caller and Sakhi experience, including availability, discovery, games, profiles, tags, ratings and wallet transparency.
• Work with engineering and design teams to deliver features and improve usability.
• Track key metrics such as retention, engagement, conversion, repeat usage and revenue.
• Use user feedback and data to guide product decisions.

2. Growth & Go-to-Market

• Build strategies to acquire, activate and retain callers and Sakhis.
• Develop Sakhi recruitment channels, community programmes and agency partnerships.
• Drive caller acquisition through regional-language campaigns, referrals and partnerships.
• Experiment with pricing, engagement and monetisation strategies.
• Build scalable growth processes while maintaining a high-quality user experience.

3. Trust, Safety & Community

• Establish clear verification, moderation, reporting and escalation processes.
• Develop and implement platform policies to protect callers and Sakhis.
• Build Sakhi onboarding and training programmes.
• Define appropriate enforcement procedures, including warnings, suspensions and bans.
• Monitor safety metrics, user complaints and recurring risks.
• Drive transparency through regular reporting and continuous improvements.

4. Compliance & Operations

• Coordinate compliance with applicable Indian laws, IT Rules, app-store policies and payment requirements.
• Establish grievance-handling processes and appropriate response timelines.
• Work with legal, payment and technology partners on operational requirements.
• Build internal policies and documentation to support responsible growth.
• Ensure that monetisation, user communication and platform operations remain transparent.

Who we are looking for

• Experience in product management, business growth, operations or leadership within a consumer internet company.
• Experience with social networking, audio chat, live streaming, creator platforms, dating apps or two-sided marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of user acquisition, retention, engagement and monetisation.
• Ability to work across product, technology, business operations and community management.
• A practical understanding of trust, safety and user protection in consumer platforms.
• Comfort working with data, policies, people and business metrics.
• Fluency in at least one of Kannada, Hindi or Telugu; multiple regional languages are an advantage.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership in an early-stage company.

Experience at platforms such as FRND, DOSTT, Eloelo, ShareChat or similar businesses is relevant. Radio jockeys, mobile jockeys, video jockeys and professional hosts with strong community-building, conversation and team-training experience are also encouraged to apply, particularly if they have complementary business or product skills.
