We are looking for a Community Engagement & Moderation Specialist to join our client's team. This remote position is key to building and maintaining a robust online community, ensuring that our platforms foster positive engagement and constructive dialogue. The ideal candidate will possess strong moderation skills and a passion for cultivating vibrant community interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and moderate conversations across various social media platforms, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Respond to community inquiries, comments, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and escalate any potential issues or conflicts that may arise within the community.
  • Monitor community feedback and engagement metrics, providing insights for improvement.
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to drive participation and interaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align community initiatives with broader brand goals.
  • Maintain a content calendar for community interactions and engagements.
  • Compile regular reports on community engagement trends and activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in community management, social media moderation, or related roles (2+ years preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on brand voice and tone.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and moderation tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to community engagement and conflict resolution.
  • Experience working in remote teams or environments is a plus.
  • A genuine interest in building community and fostering positive interactions.
