Compliance & Ecosystem Development Specialist

Note: Due to company requirements the employment contract will be in the form of an Outsourcing Contract.

Responsibilities

• Handling of Reports/Appeals: Review and process user-reported and appealed cases based on established content governance and handling rules to ensure platform content safety and compliance.
• High-Risk Content Management: Identify, analyze, and report information involving major regulatory violations to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• External Communication and Coordination:
• Manage and oversee daily operations of external email accounts.
• Ensure timely receipt of communications from German regulatory authorities and distribute requirements to relevant functional departments, driving full-process closure.
• Serve as the unified point of contact for outgoing communications to German regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information delivery.
• Data Compilation and Disclosure: Collect and organize business-related data from multiple departments, facilitate external information disclosure, and support the preparation and release of compliance reports.
• Industry Monitoring and Risk Warning: Continuously monitor industry trends, compliance developments, and regulatory policies in Europe, analyze major issues, and escalate as necessary.
• Participation in European Internet Business Ecosystem Development:
• Expand and establish partnerships with ecosystem players related to internet business, including but not limited to content platforms, tool-based services, advertising platforms, traffic platforms, and developers.
• Develop ecosystem collaboration strategies based on business objectives, establish partnership tiers, and manage a partner pool.
• Daily Operational Configuration: Perform operational back-end configuration tasks for certain business functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or above degree.
• Professional Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, compliance, public affairs, or risk management.
• Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and external communication, with familiarity in European or international compliance and safety management practices.
• Professional Skills:
• Familiarity with content safety, platform governance, and digital compliance policies and processes.
• Strong data analysis and report-writing abilities.
• Effective multitasking and time management skills.
• Business development capabilities: Able to independently identify resources, negotiate, and establish partnership intentions.
• Language Proficiency:
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Chinese communication
• Proficiency in German at a level equivalent to B1 certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with EU regulations such as the Digital Services Act (DSA) and GDPR, as well as industry best practices.
• Experience in handling major security incidents or crisis management.
