Position Summary

The Content Data Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing large-scale parts and catalog data using industry standards such as ACES and PIES. This position will support cross-functional teams by ensuring high-quality, accurate and up-to-date data to drive product listings, catalog coverage and customer experience.

Responsibilities 

  • Collect and analyze large automotive dataset ensuring compliance with ACES and PIES standards

  • Create in-depth vehicle coverage analysis by product category

  • Support catalog exports to meet specific customer requirements

  • Manipulate large OE application data sets to provide support for the Content team

  • Develop and maintain reporting tools to monitor new part development and product coverage

  • Provide recommendations for third-party content management solutions. Be knowledgeable of current industry software solutions for managing product data and content.

  • Participate in system upgrades and data normalization projects

  • Develop written processes that ensure data integrity and normalization

  • Validate and update internal systems with content data loads 

  • Reviews catalog validation reports submitted by our customers

  • Assists in developing unique markets for catalog to support sales team

  • Manage image workflow from the point of receiving images through background removal, renaming and submittal of images

  • Work cross functionally with other departments (Content, Product Management and Data Receivers/Customer) to develop and execute image process.
     

Minimum Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or equivalent experience in automotive aftermarket working with catalog content.

  • Proficient in Access, SQL and data manipulation tools

  • Knowledgeable of ACES and PIES data standards

  • Experience mapping application data to ACES and PIES

  • Understanding of vehicle fitment logic and mapping

  • Familiarity with automotive catalog platforms (Epicor, WHI, etc)

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the automotive aftermarket as a catalog analyst or parts analyst

  • Self-motivated with good leadership and problem solving ability

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment

  • Experience with image processing and management is a plus
