Content Moderator- Arabic Associate (Non Native)

Role Description The Content Moderator - Arabic Associate (Non Native) is a contract, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role involves reviewing, screening, and moderating user-generated content in Arabic and English to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and legal requirements. The associate will assess text, images, and videos for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential risks, and take appropriate action such as approving, flagging, or escalating content. Daily activities include documenting decisions, following escalation protocols, and maintaining productivity and quality targets. The role also requires collaboration with support, technical, and training teams to improve moderation workflows and user safety, while providing clear feedback and reports to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Open for freshers with Diploma / Degree (Any Stream), Training will be provided

• Fresher's with Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent work experience in a relevant role.
• Strong analytical skills to review, interpret, and make sound decisions on large volumes of content.
• Effective communication skills for clear documentation, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Customer service orientation to ensure user safety, positive platform experiences, and professional handling of sensitive content.
• Basic technical support skills to navigate moderation tools, dashboards, and content management systems efficiently.
• Ability to participate in and support training activities, including learning new policies quickly and sharing best practices.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Arabic content (non-native speakers welcome) and strong English language skills.
• Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and comfort in dealing with potentially sensitive or disturbing material.
• Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer operations, or related fields is an advantage.
• Availability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, possibly on rotating shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required.
