Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Moderator (German Speaker) role based in Dublin. The Content Moderator will review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content in German and English to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and legal requirements. Responsibilities include identifying and escalating sensitive or complex cases, applying content policies consistently, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. The role involves responding to user reports, documenting findings, and providing clear, concise feedback within defined service levels. The Content Moderator will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer support, policy, and technical support to improve workflows, report recurring issues, and contribute to a safe and positive user experience.
Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret content policies, assess risk, and make sound, consistent moderation decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to write clear, professional responses and document findings accurately.
  • Customer service skills, including empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive or challenging user interactions in a professional manner.
  • Technical support skills, such as basic troubleshooting, navigating multiple software tools, and accurately logging cases in internal systems.
  • Training-related skills, including the ability to follow structured training materials, adapt to policy updates, and share knowledge with peers.
  • Proven experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, online communities, and digital safety best practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dublin on rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
  • Relevant diploma or degree, or equivalent practical experience in a related field (e.g., communications, linguistics, psychology, IT) is preferred.
