Content Removal Manager / Trust & Safety Team Lead

Media Removal is hiring a Content Removal Manager to lead our internal Trust & Safety team and take ownership of our removal results.

We work in content removal and online reputation management for clients across the US, UK, Australia, Canada and Europe.

THE ROLE

You will create and present evidence-based removal cases, handle appeals and escalations, and improve removal success rates across platforms. You will also lead and train the specialists doing this work. We need someone who can bring deep removal expertise and make the department stronger.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assess cases against platform policies and choose the appropriate reporting or appeal route.

• Build and review removal submissions with clear evidence and reasoning.

• Own difficult cases, appeals and escalations.

• Coach the team and improve the quality and success rate of its work.

• Keep every case assigned, with a clear status, next action and owner.

• Build practical playbooks from successful cases.

• Track success rates, turnaround time, quality and delivery costs.

• Work with sales on realistic expectations and with the founder on external-provider fallback options.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong, hands-on experience in content removal, policy enforcement, legal-removal operations or complex appeals.

• Experience leading or coaching a team.

• A clear understanding of how platforms assess reports and evidence.

• Examples of difficult cases you have personally handled and outcomes you improved.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• The ability to take responsibility for a department in a lean business.

COMPENSATION

EUR 3,500–5,000 per month base, plus substantial performance incentives. Total earning potential of EUR 7,000–8,000+ per month, with scope for six-figure annual earnings as results grow. Variable earnings are not guaranteed; targets and terms will be agreed before joining.

Full-time, remote, open to candidates worldwide. No visa sponsorship. Contract arrangements will be agreed with the successful candidate.
