This role is offered on an initial three month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension or it to become permanent.

Our Digital Investigations Team is all about social media intelligence. We've been at it for over a decade, honing our skills and becoming true experts globally. We've got experience working with social media platforms, governments, and non-profit organisations - helping them understand and navigate digital threats. Our highly skilled Digital Investigations team works at the cutting edge of digital threat and online harm, helping clients detect and respond. We use innovative technology and have a deep understanding of everything related to social media and online infrastructure. We're not just about the platforms themselves, but also about the behaviours and intent of those who use them for adversarial outcomes, and those they target.

What you’ll be doing

· Editing, reviewing, and quality assuring intelligence reports, investigations, and client deliverables.

· Ensuring written outputs are accurate, concise, consistent, and aligned to our editorial standards.

· Working closely with analysts to strengthen the clarity, structure, and impact of their reporting.

· Translating complex investigative findings into accessible and compelling narratives.

· Reviewing reports for factual accuracy, logical consistency, and evidential integrity.

· Managing multiple deliverables and deadlines across a varied portfolio of projects.

· Supporting the development of reporting standards, templates, and style guides.

· Providing editorial feedback, coaching, and guidance to analysts.

· Collaborating with project teams to ensure outputs meet client requirements and expectations.

· Supporting the publication and dissemination of thought leadership, research, and investigative content where required.

On day one you will bring

· Experience in editing, reviewing, or commissioning analytical, investigative, journalistic, or intelligence focused content.

· Exceptional written English, with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

· Experience translating complex information into clear and engaging written products.

· Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

· Experience working to tight deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards.

· An understanding of digital investigations, online harms, OSINT, misinformation, disinformation, or related fields.

· A background in journalism, editing, communications, political science, intelligence analysis, research, or a related discipline.

· The mindset of a curious and critical thinker who can challenge assumptions while strengthening the quality of investigative work.

· Experience in Trust & Safety and content moderation environments, particularly relating to online harms would be highly advantageous.
