Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a GSOC Analyst to join us in an embedded role within a client's security team. The GSOC Analyst is primarily tasked with alarm management, customer service, facilities support, and incident response as part of a 24/7 security operations team. The GSOC Analyst will also participate in enhancing the team’s threat intelligence capability for determining the likelihood and impact of threats against the client’s people, assets, operations, and reputation (such as civil unrest, crime, terrorism, extreme weather, health hazards, or technical failures).

This role would particularly suit a recent or imminent graduate, early-career security professional, or anyone with an interest in getting into the security industry. The GSOC uses a variety of tools such as global access control and alarm monitoring systems, integrated video monitoring systems, enhanced visitor management systems, and in-house applications used to detect threats and incidents that may impact the company. Applicants must therefore be willing to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, with the ability to research and analyse a wide range of information and create analysis in accordance with strict deadlines.

This position requires the ability to work on weekends and holidays on a rotation schedule, the shift we are hiring for is the Grave Shift Sunday - Thursday. This requires flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the client and shift workload. You must be a self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Whilst the GSOC Supervisor and Manager will provide daily supervision, the GSOC Operator will also have full access to Sibylline’s embed management team. Full support and guidance will be provided from our head office, including training and professional development.
