Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse operations at scale.
  • Track record of leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies to solve business problems.
  • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models and iterate to make improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a history of going above and beyond to make operational improvements and solve tough problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As an Enforcement Detection Analyst , you will be directly responsible for ensuring that we effectively identify and remove disruptive content and users as quickly as possible, in an environment where hundreds of hours of new content is uploaded every minute. The primary focus is abuse within the YouTube Partner Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enforce YouTube policies at scale. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for effective abuse prevention and enforcement. Leverage Machine Learning and AI, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners in Engineering, Product, Policy and Operations to drive complex anti-abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross-functional areas.
  • Provide rapid incident response for abuse problems, operating independently. Analyze and draw conclusions on root-causes and define and implement mitigation steps.
  • Learn complex and technical concepts and systems and deliver meaningful results using them. Communicate technical results and methods clearly.
  • Design and refine LLM solutions and agents to improve accuracy of identifying and classifying abusive content and behavior.
