Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- 2 years of experience managing projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
- 2 years of experience with machine learning systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.

As a Trust and Safety, Engineering analyst you will be the driving initiatives that protects Google Video, Image and User generated content experiences from misinformation, abuse, and harmful content.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects building critical trust protections for Google Video and Image, used globally, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop safety solutions.
- Perform data analyses to identify and address product vulnerabilities, continuously improving systems against evolving abuse. Embrace LLMs to enhance abuse and misinformation fighting ability.
- Review into trust issues specific to images, videos and creator content surfaces, providing insights and data-driven analysis to inform decision-making for the product.
- Use technical judgement to drive project delivery, continuously refine our enforcement workflows, leveraging automation including LLMs and your problem-solving skills to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
- Be prepared to review and assess content that may be controversial, offensive, or sensitive, demonstrating resilience and sound judgment. You might need to perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis including weekends as needed.
