Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture design and optimization of the Trust & Safety backend review systems (human + machine) and enforcement engines; resolve core system performance bottlenecks and drive architectural evolution while ensuring online system stability and high availability.
  • Own the development and stability of the content safety model platform; deliver high-quality system design and implementation to support core platforms including data pipelines, operations systems, and moderation systems serving products with hundreds of millions of DAU.
  • Participate in the R&D, optimization, and maintenance of large-scale machine learning online inference frameworks, ensuring models serve online business efficiently and reliably.
  • Continuously optimize the performance of online services and offline computation tasks; design and implement key solutions including high concurrency, multi-region deployment, and disaster recovery to ensure system resilience and business continuity.
  • Participate in the technical implementation and delivery of risk control strategies, providing efficient and reliable technical support for strategy iteration.
  • Stay current with the technical frontier; participate in technology selection and architectural evolution to drive continuous upgrades of the Trust & Safety tech stack.
  • Collaborate closely with Trust & Safety strategy, algorithm, data, product, and operations teams to communicate effectively and jointly achieve business objectives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; at least 3 years of experience in distributed systems development.
  • Solid Java programming foundation; deep proficiency in Java collection frameworks and core technical principles including distributed storage, computing, message queues (e.g., Kafka/RocketMQ), and microservice governance.
  • Extensive experience in online system stability assurance and performance tuning; proven ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve issues in complex production environments.
  • Experience in big data platform development; proficient in Spark, Hadoop, Flink, and other mainstream big data processing technology stacks.
  • Strong data sensitivity and logical analysis capabilities; able to conduct deep data investigation and business problem analysis with strong business risk intuition; experience in data analysis or algorithm model deployment is a plus.
  • Experience in content safety, risk control, anti-abuse, or related domains is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong sense of ownership; able to proactively drive project progress and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong learning ability and technical passion; able to quickly adapt to evolving business requirements and technology changes.


Pay range and compensation package

The annual base salary range for this position is $300,000 – $700,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and qualifications.
