Fraud Analyst

About the role

Giftly is hiring remote Seasonal Fraud Reviewers to support our team during our busiest time of year. You will review customer activity using established procedures, make timely and thoughtful decisions, and document your work clearly. This is a high-volume role that requires careful judgment, consistency, discretion, and strong attention to detail.

What you will do

• Review customer and transaction activity using internal tools, established guidelines, and good judgment.
• Make accurate, timely decisions and escalate cases that require additional review.
• Identify unusual activity and potential patterns while keeping an open mind about legitimate customer behavior.
• Document decisions clearly so team members can understand the outcome and any necessary follow-up.
• Work efficiently through a time-sensitive queue while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate with the fraud and operations teams and participate in coaching or review sessions as needed.
• Protect confidential customer, payment, and business information at all times.

What we are looking for

• Strong judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to evaluate information carefully and consistently.
• Comfort making decisions independently within defined guidelines and asking for help when a case falls outside them.
• Ability to balance risk awareness with a fair and thoughtful customer experience.
• Clear, concise written communication and reliable documentation habits.
• Ability to remain focused and accurate while working through repetitive, high-volume queues.
• Dependability, sound time management, and consistent attendance during scheduled shifts.
• Comfort learning web-based tools and working remotely with minimal supervision.

Helpful experience

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, payments, trust and safety, compliance, e-commerce, or customer support.
• Experience reviewing customer or account activity and making decisions within established guidelines.
• Familiarity with online payment environments or other work requiring careful, confidential review.

Schedule and seasonal expectations

This position supports Giftly during the holiday season, when review volume can change quickly. Candidates should be available for a consistent part-time schedule and willing to work a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability during the highest-volume period around Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is especially important. Additional hours may be available based on volume and business needs.
