Fraud Analyst — Identity & Biometric Attack Defense (Jakarta)

We’re hiring a Fraud Analyst to join our Data Science organization and work closely with our Chief Data Science Officer to reduce fraudulent acceptance—especially against biometric injection and AI-enabled attacks—using a mix of data analysis, device/network intelligence, behavioral signals, and risk strategy execution.

What you’ll do
Investigate fraud patterns across onboarding, identity verification, authentication, and transaction flows
Focus on biometric injection/replay and broader identity threats (ATO, synthetic identity, fraud rings)
Turn insights into action: rules/threshold tuning, step-up strategies, monitoring, and workflows
Leverage device intelligence, network/location signals, and behavioral/session patterns to detect attacks
Partner with data scientists/engineers to improve labels, metrics, and model + rules performance
Build dashboards and communicate clear recommendations to stakeholders

What we’re looking for
2–5+ years in fraud analysis, risk analytics, trust & safety, or security analytics
Strong analytical skills; proficient in SQL (Python/R a plus)
Experience working with fraud/risk/identity/payments data and decisioning (rules or scoring)
Able to communicate clearly and operate in ambiguity

Nice to have
Experience with device intelligence / bot detection / risk decisioning platforms
Familiarity with biometric security concepts (liveness/PAD, injection/replay threats)
Experience with large-scale event data, dashboards, or graph/link analysis
