Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. As a GenAI Vendor Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence to support human review reviews for GenAI, adversarial red teaming, and other emerging products. You will support the day-to-day vendor operations and effectively manage vendor performance with transparent metrics, data-driven decisions and industry leading vendor management techniques. You are an expert in operational excellence with the ability to work globally and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. You are also capable of identifying, prioritizing and implementing process and automation opportunities to continuously improve and scale operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee delivery of day-to-day service operations, manage key metrics (e.g., SLAs, Quality, AHT, TRT, Cost per Unit, Utilization) and business reporting to ensure goals are met, lead vendor selection, forecasting, resource, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), contract management, and budget planning
  • Provide thought leadership, troubleshoot complex problems, and foster a solutions-oriented mindset to maximize vendor performance, partner effectively with global cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Lead business reviews, develop insights reporting, and prepare data-driven communications for all audiences.
  • Support complex, or time-sensitive projects from concept to launch by defining clear objectives, dependencies, risks, owners and follow through mechanisms. 
  • Review sensitive or graphic content as part of role.
