Global Game Ratings & Regulatory Compliance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Global Game Ratings & Compliance Manager to oversee age ratings, regulatory adherence, and compliance workflows for our global gaming portfolio.
This role is essential for ensuring our titles meet the standards of international ratings boards and digital platform requirements while navigating regulatory complexities.
Responsibilities
Manage submission and approval processes for global age ratings boards, including ESRB, PEGI, USK, and IARC
Ensure all game content complies with age rating requirements, content disclosure guidelines, and platform-specific policies
Collaborate with teams across product, engineering, trust & safety, legal, and marketing to prepare compliant materials and documentation
Act as the subject matter expert on content ratings and compliance for PC and mobile platforms
Monitor global regulations impacting digital games, such as China content restrictions and Germany's youth protection laws
Establish and update internal compliance workflows and documentation to streamline cross-functional collaboration
Develop strategies to mitigate risks of ratings delays or content-related rejections
Liaise with legal teams to address regulatory risks and ensure proper content tagging and disclosures
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in game ratings, content compliance, regulatory affairs, or related legal/compliance roles
Understanding of global rating systems like ESRB, PEGI, USK, and IARC alongside digital platform standards
Strong skills in regulatory requirements, standards and procedures, and requirements analysis
Background in compliance management, business process analysis, and regulatory workflow automation
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
Knowledge of gaming industry practices, digital media standards, and analytic techniques
Background in BA artifacts documentation and regulatory standards compliance
Skills in requirements elicitation, traceability, and prioritization management
Familiarity with rating and reviews platforms and emerging decision-making techniques
