At the center of the company is Sentinel Core, our proprietary AI/ML trust engine. Sentinel Core ingests signals from calls, texts, emails, enterprise workflows, verification events, voice interactions, fraud reports, and behavioral patterns. It then analyzes risk, detects social engineering, scores trust, correlates signals across channels, and distributes protection back through the broader ScamROCKET ecosystem.

The ScamROCKET consumer app, GRVFT enterprise platform, and Sentinel Insights intelligence layer are product surfaces. Sentinel Core is the centerpoint.

We already have an MVP built. Now we are hiring the technical leaders who can help turn ScamROCKET into the communication trust infrastructure layer for the AI era.

Role Description

ScamROCKET is hiring a full-time remote Head of AI Systems & Trust Infrastructure to lead the design, development, and scaling of Sentinel Core and the technical systems that power the entire ScamROCKET ecosystem.

This is not a generic AI strategy role. This is a deep technical leadership role for someone who can architect, build, and lead the development of proprietary AI systems that operate across real-time communication, behavioral risk, identity verification, social engineering detection, voice/NLP analysis, fraud intelligence, and trust scoring.

The right person will help define how our trust engine works, how it learns, how it scores risk, how it evaluates communication trust, how it integrates with the consumer app, how it powers GRVFT enterprise workflows, and how it creates intelligence for Sentinel Insights.

This person should be comfortable leading technical teams, making architecture decisions, working directly with the founder and product leadership, mentoring senior engineers, and using AI aggressively to accelerate baseline work across research, coding, documentation, testing, prototyping, and system design.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and execution of ScamROCKET’s proprietary AI/ML trust engine
• Design systems for real-time communication risk scoring across calls, texts, emails, enterprise workflows, and verification events
• Build and oversee AI/ML systems for fraud detection, social engineering detection, behavioral modeling, signal correlation, and trust scoring
• Drive the technical strategy for voice AI, NLP, transcript analysis, scam script detection, urgency detection, manipulation pattern detection, and conversation risk assessment
• Guide model evaluation, model routing, AI infrastructure, testing frameworks, data pipelines, and production AI reliability
• Work with backend, mobile, AI/ML, security, product, enterprise, and infrastructure teams to ensure all product surfaces connect properly
• Help define the technical boundary between the ScamROCKET consumer app, GRVFT, and Sentinel Insights
• Build systems that can ingest weak and strong signals, normalize them, score them, correlate them, and distribute protection back across the ecosystem
• Help create scalable architecture for trust-event objects, risk-event objects, behavioral signals, fraud definitions, and threat intelligence outputs
• Ensure the system is designed around privacy, security, data minimization, enterprise trust, and regulatory awareness
• Mentor and help recruit elite AI-native engineers, ML engineers, backend engineers, NLP specialists, voice AI engineers, and infrastructure talent
• Establish engineering discipline without slowing down startup velocity
• Use modern AI tools as leverage for research, coding, documentation, testing, prototyping, analysis, and technical planning

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in computer science, AI systems, data science, machine learning, and scalable software architecture
• Experience designing, building, or leading production AI/ML systems
• Strong understanding of behavioral modeling, anomaly detection, pattern recognition, risk scoring, classification, or trust systems
• Experience with Natural Language Processing, LLMs, transcript analysis, semantic search, embeddings, or conversation intelligence
• Practical knowledge of model evaluation, model routing, testing, observability, data pipelines, and production AI infrastructure
• Ability to reason through real-world fraud, social engineering, impersonation, identity abuse, and communication risk
• Strong backend and systems architecture instincts
• Ability to lead complex technical projects across multiple teams and product surfaces
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to founders, product teams, engineers, investors, and enterprise partners
• Practical knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, enterprise trust, and regulatory considerations in communication technology
• Advanced degree in computer science, machine learning, data science, AI, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, but not required
• Equivalent deep industry experience is highly valued

Strong Bonus Experience

• Fraud detection, trust and safety, cybersecurity, financial crime, telecom, identity verification, or enterprise security
• Voice AI, speech-to-text systems, call center analytics, voice biometrics, or conversational intelligence
• Graph ML, entity resolution, fraud graph systems, trust networks, or relationship-based risk scoring
• Real-time decision systems, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, or high-scale data infrastructure
• LLM evaluation, AI agents, retrieval systems, prompt/model orchestration, or multi-model routing
• Fintech, banking, insurance, telecom, identity platforms, or regulated enterprise environments
• Experience working with SOC 2, security diligence, privacy-sensitive architecture, or enterprise buyer requirement

ScamROCKET is committed to fair, transparent, and competitive compensation.

The expected base salary range for this role is $190,000 to $230,000 USD annually, depending on experience, technical depth, leadership capability, location, and overall fit for the role.

This position is also expected to include meaningful equity participation, giving the right candidate real upside in the company they help build.

For an exceptional candidate with rare experience across AI systems, production ML infrastructure, fraud detection, communication security, and trust architecture, compensation may be adjusted based on scope, timing, and company funding stage.

Final compensation will be determined based on candidate experience, scope of responsibility, funding stage, and ability to execute at the level required for this role.
