Head of Operations - Trust & Safety

About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Head of Trust & Safety Operations to join our Singapore office. In this critical role, you will architect our global Trust & Safety (T&S) framework from the ground up. You will be the guardian of our community, balancing user safety with business growth across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. T&S Framework Development & Strategic Planning:

Build from scratch and/or comprehensively upgrade the Trust & Safety framework for global overseas publishing operations.

Develop and implement content safety strategies that comply with regional standards.

2. Operational Compliance & Risk Control:

Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable operational SOPs.

Lead the establishment of global, multilingual, and multi-regional content moderation and risk control standards.

3. Incident Response & Crisis Management:

Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Public Relations (PR), and Government Relations (GR) teams to manage high-stakes global inquiries

Execute robust risk management strategies to mitigate reputational and safety crisis.

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

Develop a high-performing T&S team with a global perspective.

Drive continuous learning to stay ahead of evolving global internet governance trends

Continuously refine and iterate risk control models and governance strategies.

Requirements：

Bachelor’s degree or above, with 8+ years of relevant Trust & Safety experience within the Internet/Technology industry.

Strong expertise in international internet regulations and compliance standards.

High sensitivity to geopolitics, religious and cultural taboos, and multicultural nuances to navigate potential conflicts effectively.

Ability to learn quickly and challenge outdated practices with an open mindset

Proven capability to balance business growth with safety and compliance priorities

Fluency in English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with HQ and global stakeholders.

Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills, and demonstrate high resilience under pressure.

Proven experience managing cross-timezone, multinational teams within matrix organizations.

Experienced AI user with strong curiosity and interest in emerging technologies (e.g., AIGC) and their impact on the T&S landscape.
