Head of Product – Trust Platform Area (d/f/m)

We are looking for a Head of Product to take full accountability for the Trust Platform Area and set its strategic direction. You will manage four Product Managers and their cross-functional teams: content pre-moderation (listings and messages), CS tooling and post-moderation (flags, appeals), user registration and login handling, and AI enablement and CS ticket automation.
You will lead product work that prevents fraud, abuse, and harmful behaviour, while keeping safety measures proportionate and friction for legitimate users low. Partnering with Engineering, Data, Customer Service, Legal, Policy, and other Product areas, you turn ambiguous trust problems into a clear domain strategy with measurable outcomes — moving us further towards proactive, data-driven prevention using signals, automation, machine learning, AI, and effective human-in-the-loop processes. Who You Are:

• From 10 years of product management experience, including 3+ years managing PMs, ideally in marketplaces, platforms, Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, identity or moderation
• You drive core area metrics and align team KPIs connected to our company northstars
• You make clear, data-informed decisions in difficult situations, and can disagree and commit to move on, test, and learn
• You oversee prioritisation and roadmapping for multiple teams with defined outcomes, roles, and milestones
• You guide teams by goals and user needs rather than feature details, and execute large-scale initiatives across multiple teams
• You influence research in uncertain areas, represent user needs strategically
• You are a feedback coach, actively seek and give hard feedback, and have a growth plan for each direct report
• You know multiple organisational setups and actively influence how to shape the future org
• You target communication to the audience (from individual contributors to C-Level), make complex topics easy to understand, and solve conflicts early
• You have a strategic understanding of AI and coach your team to apply it to real customer problems. 
• Fluent in English, German is a plus

What You'll Do:

• Own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for the Trust Platform Area across pre-moderation, post-moderation, CS tooling, registration and login, and AI automation
• Translate company strategy into priorities for four teams and cascade it into their plans and reprioritisation
• Build a high-performing team: hire, coach, and retain four PMs, and hold them accountable for their teams' outcomes
• Oversee cross-team roadmapping and make trade-offs between prevention effectiveness, false positives, user friction, operational cost, and business impact explicit
• Set the detection and enforcement direction across the journey — from login and listing moderation to flags, appeals, and reinstatement
• Drive the AI and automation agenda for Trust and CS with clear targets for coverage, quality, and cost per case
• Partner with Engineering and Data on scalable moderation, identity, and decisioning capabilities, incl. build-versus-buy decisions
• Act as the primary product counterpart for Customer Service and Operations leadership to reduce unnecessary manual work
• Turn DSA, GDPR, and EU AI Act requirements into scalable product capabilities with Legal, Policy, and Privacy
• Represent Trust & Safety in senior forums, win management for your strategy, and act as the senior trust voice across Kleinanzeigen. 
• You will report to the Head of Product – Platform Unit
