The Location:

This position is Fully remote in the US

Responsibilities:

  • Perform investigative reviews of severe incidents to analyze the effectiveness of current defenses
  • Identify potential remediation opportunities and recommend appropriate actions to improve defenses
  • Partner with Platform, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to analyze and communicate the effectiveness of defenses
  • Provide insights and feedback to experts for future expansion capabilities
  • Collaborate with individuals and teams across FSO to ensure comprehensive analysis and remediation
  • Assist in the management and coordination of remediation efforts for identified issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of findings and recommendations
  • Manage special projects, including the development and maintenance of an internal risk register, and oversee other ad hoc requests to support organizational risk mitigation and operational priorities

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Risk Management) or equivalent; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing or investigating severe incidents related to user safety, fraud, or abuse within digital platforms, ideally in Trust & Safety or Risk Operations roles
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools, specifically Incident.io (and others, including Asana and Airtable)
  • Strong proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), including formulas for automation
  • Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups and stakeholders is imperative
  • Familiarity with communication tools including Slack, Gmail, Zoom
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and trends in incident data
  • Demonstrate a strong bias towards action, proactively identifying opportunities and swiftly driving solutions to completion

Pay Rate Range: $42-$53/hr
