The Public Policy team at Netflix proactively manages the company's relationship with policy makers and advises the company on regulatory matters. The team engages with governments and key stakeholders on a variety of issues and initiatives that materially impact our business and our members, with the goal of setting Netflix up for success and growth around the world.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to join our Global Public Policy team, based in Amsterdam. Reporting to the Director of IP/AI/Industry Development Global Affairs, this role will play a key part in supporting the execution of strategic initiatives across a range of high-priority areas, including intellectual property, generative AI, and the evolving global media policy landscape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, from coordinating stakeholder engagement and tracking legislative and regulatory developments, to preparing internal briefings, organizing policy events, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, global environment. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and executional excellence will be key to thriving in this role.

About the job

Supporting the team’s strategic efforts by gathering relevant insights and input from cross-functional partners across the business.

Managing the calendar of key deadlines, external consultations, policy events, and internal deliverables to ensure timely execution and alignment across the team.

Monitoring and proactively flagging regulatory, legal, and market developments that may affect the team’s priorities, goals, or positioning.

Organizing and maintaining structured trackers of legislative developments, stakeholder engagements, and emerging issues.

Providing research, analytical, and drafting support on memos, talking points, policy papers, or briefing materials as needed.

Creating and formatting clear, engaging internal updates to inform and align broader business teams on policy developments and strategic initiatives.

Supporting meeting preparation and follow-up, including agenda setting, notetaking, and action tracking.

Helping coordinate external engagements, including conferences, roundtables, stakeholder meetings, and speaking opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, public policy, political science, international relations, law).

3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in communications, consulting, law, policy, or the entertainment/media industry.

Proven ability to support cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and coordinate complex workflows.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting clear internal updates or briefings.

Strong organizational and operational skills, including experience managing trackers, deadlines, and process improvements.

Able to anticipate issues, work independently, and contribute proactively to team strategy.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with both detail-heavy and big-picture tasks.

Flexible and eager to support a wide range of projects, even outside your core expertise.

Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
