**WE OFFER A 12-MONTHS TEMPORARY CONTRACT**

Amazon is seeking Investigation Specialists for its Seller Experience Protection Operations (SEPO) team in Gdańsk, Poland. SEPO is a critical function within Amazon's Perfect Order Experience (POE) organization, dedicated to protecting the integrity of the marketplace by investigating and eliminating online e-commerce risk. By leveraging advanced tools, data-driven processes, and cross-functional collaboration, SEPO ensures that both sellers and buyers can trust the Amazon marketplace. Our team plays a vital role in safeguarding the customer experience by identifying policy violations, addressing seller performance concerns, and enforcing marketplace standards across multiple global stores. Our long-term vision is to create the world's most trusted online marketplace — where every transaction is safe, every seller is held to the highest standards, and every customer can shop with confidence.

This position involves working in a rotating shift system, which may include Saturdays, Sundays, night shifts and on-call duty.

The minimum base pay salary for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include further pay components such as performance bonuses, where applicable. Your recruiting team will share final base pay and any applicable total compensation elements depending on skills and requirements. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply subject to further terms, including pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, MultiSport card, employee discount code and program (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and the Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well-being). The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 4,808.33 monthly.

Key job responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Research and evaluate facts surrounding seller transactions to identify potential violations or irregularities
- Take appropriate action on investigated transactions based on established standard operating procedures and available tools
- Document all actions thoroughly by providing detailed and accurate annotations
- Communicate with external customers via phone or email throughout the investigation process
- Collaborate with internal teams and peers in person, via email, annotations, and phone during and following investigations
- Analyze issues and leverage available resources to reach effective resolutions
- Systematically escalate problems or variances in information to the relevant owners and teams in accordance with established processes and standards
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution
- Interpret performance metrics and create analyses to support and drive business goals
- Meet predetermined productivity targets and quality standards consistently

A day in the life
This is a remote home-based role. Permanently working from home from Gdansk in Poland.

About the team
- Prior to employment start, must have high speed internet of 200 Mbps or better, and at least 100 GB of data from a reliable provider.
- Must have a suitable home office work environment compliance with Amazon’s policy.
- Availability to complete a 2-months onsite training in our office at Gdansk. Basic Qualifications: - Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken (C1 level in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
- Proficiency in Polish both written and spoken (C1 level in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR). Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience managing investigations or fraud programs in a professional setting (or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and accurately to both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound investigative decisions with minimal guidance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to recognize non-obvious patterns
- Exceptional customer-handling and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on quality and customer experience
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems logically and think critically
- Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks of competing urgency
- Proven ability to maintain productivity and meet department standards while managing competing deadlines
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding performance expectations and delivering individual contributions
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and adhere to data security standards
