About Legal Affairs and the Legal Affairs Team


The Legal Affairs team ensures that all regulatory and legal obligations are fulfilled in a structured, reliable, and auditable manner.


A key focus lies on handling requests from law enforcement authorities and regulatory bodies, particularly within the framework of European regulations such as the Digital Services Act (DSA).

The team operates in a remote-first setup with optional presence in Berlin and collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders.


Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Law Enforcement Response Specialist who is responsible for processing and responding to law enforcement and regulatory requests in a legally compliant, structured, and timely manner.


The role requires the ability to:

  • analyze structured and unstructured information
  • make well-founded decisions based on available facts
  • document outcomes in a traceable and audit-ready way


You will work within clearly defined processes and contribute to their continuous improvement.

What You’ll Own & Drive

  • Process and respond to requests from law enforcement authorities and regulatory bodies in accordance with applicable laws
  • Assess cases within the framework of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and related regulations
  • Identify legal obligations and ensure appropriate escalation of relevant cases
  • Manage time-sensitive cases related to illegal content and platform safety
  • Create complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation of all cases and decisions
  • Collaborate with Legal, Customer Support, Technical, and Compliance teams
  • Support regulatory reporting and transparency processes
  • Identify and implement improvements in workflows and documentation standards
  • Use AI-supported tools to support structured analysis and documentation
  • Handle sensitive content strictly within defined processes and professional standards


What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, Compliance, Legal Operations, or a comparable field
  • Understanding of online platforms and regulatory environments
  • Ability to assess complex situations based on available information and defined criteria
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable working style
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent German (mandatory) and strong English skills (required for professional communication)
  • Experience working with structured documentation and case handling processes
  • Experience with digital tools (e.g. case management systems)
  • Practical experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) is an advantage
  • Police clearance certificate (required upon hiring, where legally permissible and relevant for the role)


Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of the Digital Services Act (DSA) or similar regulations
  • Experience working with law enforcement or regulatory authorities
  • Experience in platform moderation, Trust & Safety, or online compliance
  • Experience handling escalations or complex case scenarios
  • Familiarity with AI-supported workflows in operational or legal contexts
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration environments
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of platform-related issues
