The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Lead Product Manager to own the product vision and roadmap across our content moderation, age assurance, and identity verification capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative computer vision and verification solutions, work closely with engineering and ML teams to advance our AI capabilities, and shape the future of digital content safety, all while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements including the Online Safety Act, Ofcom’s codes of practice, and international age verification standards.

This role sits at the intersection of product, compliance, and technology. You’ll be equally comfortable defining detection model requirements as you are navigating the regulatory landscape around CSAM, age-gated content, and platform accountability. What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 4+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Proven track record of delivering successful B2B SaaS products
• Experience with content moderation, trust & safety, age verification, identity verification (IDV/KYC), or compliance technology products
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape for online safety, including the Online Safety Act, Ofcom’s codes of practice, and relevant CSAM/child safety regulations
• Experience working with regulated platforms, including adult content, gambling, social media, or marketplaces
• Strong understanding of API-first product development and platform integrations
• Solid technical background with the ability to work effectively with engineering and ML teams
• Understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and cloud-based content processing pipelines
• Ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts, content safety challenges, and regulatory requirements for non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with age estimation, document-based age verification, or liveness detection technologies
• Familiarity with age verification standards and frameworks (IEEE 2089.1, euCONSENT, AVPA certification)
• Background in trust & safety, content policy, digital forensics, or compliance consulting
• Experience with compliance frameworks including NCA/NCMEC reporting requirements and Video Sharing Platform (VSP) regulations
• Knowledge of content moderation standards, hash databases (PhotoDNA, PDQ), and CSAM detection technologies
• Experience with synthetic media detection, deepfake identification, or digital watermarking
• Previous experience at content platforms, social media companies, adult content platforms, classification bodies (e.g. BBFC), or safety technology providers
• Understanding of the adult content regulatory landscape, including the Digital Economy Act and Ofcom enforcement
• Experience with product analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making
• Proficiency with data analysis, statistical interpretation, and A/B testing methodologies
• Knowledge of biometric verification, document verification, or KYC/AML product development
  

What You’ll Work On

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the Verifymy content moderation and verification platform
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the trust & safety, content moderation, and age assurance space
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with business objectives and the evolving regulatory landscape
• Drive product positioning and go-to-market strategies for new detection capabilities, moderation features, and verification products
• Monitor emerging threats, content safety trends, and regulatory developments (including Ofcom enforcement actions) to inform product direction
  

Product Development & Delivery

• Define detailed product requirements and user stories for content detection, classification, moderation, and age verification workflows
• Prioritise feature development based on platform safety needs, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility
• Manage product backlogs and sprint planning in collaboration with engineering and ML teams
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product releases with rigorous testing for accuracy and bias
  

Customer & Market Focus

• Engage directly with clients and their technical, trust & safety, and compliance teams to understand moderation and verification challenges
• Help clients understand and meet their regulatory obligations through Verifymy’s products
• Analyse content pipeline metrics, detection accuracy, verification completion rates, and moderation efficiency to identify improvements
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to gather feedback from platforms, creators, and regulated operators
• Champion user experience improvements for content reviewers, platform administrators, and end users undergoing verification
• Monitor industry trends in content moderation, CSAM detection, synthetic media, AI-generated content risks, and age assurance
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure product development aligns with regulatory requirements (Online Safety Act, GDPR, UK GDPR, CSAM regulations, Digital Economy Act)
• Collaborate with legal, trust & safety, and compliance teams on content policy enforcement and verification standards
• Stay current with evolving online safety regulations, Ofcom’s codes of practice, age verification standards, and content moderation best practices
• Balance automated detection with human review requirements across content types and jurisdictions
• Implement robust content forensics, verification audit trails, and reporting capabilities for regulatory compliance
• Monitor international regulatory developments in age verification and content safety to inform product roadmap
