Analyst

Match Group’s Evergreen & Emerging (E&E) organization is one of the world’s leading online dating groups, home to a diverse and well-known portfolio that includes OkCupid, Match.com, Meetic, PlentyOfFish, Affinity, and more. Our team is based in Vancouver and works closely with other Match Group (NASDAQ: MTCH) brands like Tinder and Hinge.

We love what we do and are motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on millions of people every day. We work hybrid on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in our downtown Vancouver office, and remotely the rest of the week.

About the Role

The Lead T&S Analyst will support understanding the portfolio-wide T&S ecosystem. This role focuses on analyzing T&S data to produce clear, actionable insights and translating those insights into stories that are easy for non-technical audiences to understand. This will require building standardized metrics and robust infrastructure in a complex cross-brand business environment, and continued execution on short-term deadlines while supporting longer-term internal goals. Match Group, through its portfolio companies, is a leading provider of dating products available globally. Our portfolio of brands is designed to increase our users' likelihood of finding a meaningful connection. This is a unique opportunity to support reporting and analytics within the Match Group Central Trust & Safety organization. The team works closely with operations, product, and engineering to surface insights that help improve tools, processes, and outcomes for both members and internal teams. You will have mentorship and opportunities to grow your technical and analytical skills while contributing meaningfully to real, high-impact work.

  • Metric creation and standardization across the ecosystem that lead to broader product insights
  • Build and maintain automated reports that are shared broadly for the Trust & Safety organization to track performance and highlight progress
  • Partner with stakeholders across the portfolio to ensure reporting and metrics are ready to support new product launches and operational changes
  • Act as a point of contact for sharing insights, helping amplify the voice of the member through data
  • Analyze trends in support and Trust & Safety data to identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies in current processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define, monitor, and improve operational metrics and reporting standards
  • Take ownership of analyses from initial question through final insight, following through to ensure findings are clearly understood and actionable
  • Manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Mentor other analytics team members, and be willing to both get your hands dirty or advise in a variety of different projects

We may be a Match if:

  • You can think critically, troubleshoot issues, and stay composed when things do not go as planned
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversations with stakeholders
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and are comfortable partnering closely with operations, product, and analytics teams
  • You have a scrappy mindset and can thrive in messy data or ambiguous environments
