Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, or related fields.
  • 2 years of experience in people management, leading analytic teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with AI, LLMs, Trust and Safety, and with adversarial testing of GenAI products.
  • Experience coordinating on complex projects across functions and teams.
  • Experience measuring impact in hard-to-define topic areas.
  • Experience leading technical teams/projects and leveraging automation, technical solutions.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours as needed to support escalations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

About The Job

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

Responsibilities

  • Execute CART's strategic priorities and overall coordination for the team with other Content Adversarial Red Team (CART) teams, RAI Testing teams, and broader red teaming networks.
  • Build a scalable, sustainable program that maximizes the team’s capabilities to deliver high quality red team results.
  • Interface with executive leads and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure needs are met.
  • Review CART’s analytic products to ensure testing results are actionable and valuable for product teams.
  • Leverage AI augmentation and tooling as you develop repeatable processes that matures CART's program and yields valuable testing insights. Review or be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting content.
