Responsibilities
About the Team
As the Manager in the Coordinated Networks & Scaled Abuse team, you will be leading the team that assesses, analyzes, mitigates, and prevents the spread of coordinated networks and large-scale abuse by sophisticated threat actors who wilfully violate our community guidelines and cause harm to our users.
You will drive the investigation and containment of coordinated networks, and profile bad actor account behaviours to generate insights to build data features, improve detection, and refine strategies for risk response.
You will work cross-functionally with policy, product managers, program managers, engineering teams, and other business partners to strengthen our detection systems, and improve account integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Trust & Safety Escalations team, ensuring high-quality investigations and career development.
- Manage complex, high-severity investigations with timely, evidence-based responses.
- Improve enforcement workflows and drive operational excellence in line with community guidelines.
- Collaborate with Policy, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to address safety risks and shape policies.
- Monitor safety trends and develop proactive strategies to mitigate emerging threat actor networks.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in trust & safety, investigations, or risk management roles.
- Proven leadership managing teams handling high-risk, cross-functional escalations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to detect patterns in deceptive or harmful behavior.
- Experience working with senior leadership and presenting data-driven insights.
- Deep domain knowledge in trust & safety, including enforcement, policy, or process improvement.
- Able to thrive in high-pressure environments and maintain resilience in emotionally demanding work.
