Role Summary
Process Study and Improvement (25%)
Conduct thorough assessments of current supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and streamline workflows.
Track and report on the impact of process improvements.
Data Analysis (25%)
Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Provide actionable insights to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) within the supply chain.
Support data-driven initiatives by ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
Technology Improvements and Business Requirement Documentation (BRDs) (25%)
Identify opportunities to leverage technology to optimize supply chain operations.
Work closely with IT and other departments to develop and implement technology solutions.
Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) to support the development and implementation of new systems and tools.
Ensure all technological improvements align with the company's strategic goals.
Pilot Rollouts and Implementation (25%)
Plan and manage the rollout of pilot projects aimed at improving supply chain processes.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
Monitor and evaluate the success of pilot projects, making adjustments as needed.
Document and communicate lessons learned from pilot projects to inform future initiatives.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
Experience with technology implementation and the creation of BRDs.
Experience with automation and digital transformation in supply chain processes.
Should be open to travel for pilot rollouts and implementation.
Stakeholder Management- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and data requirements
Qualifications And Experience
BE / Graduate / PG with experience in Process Excellence role, using process improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma)
Must be Six Sigma Green belt/Black Belt or Project Management Certified
Analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).
Process Mapping & Process building
Ability to identify and implement process re-engineering projects
Good Knowledge & Working Experience on various tools like Visio, MS Access, BI, Tableau etc.
Experience documenting Business Process flows, Creating/Updating Standard Operation Procedures, and documenting business
Fair understanding & experience in managing technology process improvement projects
Must have worked on improvement project(s) as project leader
