About the team:
Risk Prevention is to bridge the gap between the Community and XFN teams, leveraging their deep market, cultural, and language knowledge. Our team's primary focus is proactive risk identification, program management and prioritization that help improve and maintain trust and safety at a regional level.

About the role:
As the Market Program Manager for our Malaysia/Indonesia markets on the Trust & Safety team, you are the first point in contact that ensures our products, policies, programs, and systems work together to protect consumers and prevent abuse. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as the data science team and policy team, as well as external stakeholders such as public relations and government relations, to implement regulatory and operational changes.

- Program Strategy & Execution: Define and execute technical or market-focused strategies for specific regions or initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content policy, product management, data analytics, engineering, and other teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Regional Market Understanding: Understand the risks, regulatory landscape, and cultural nuances of Malaysia and Indonesia markets.
- Proactively plan for high-risk scenarios and crisis management, ensuring comprehensive preparedness.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large volumes of data to identify risks, assess issues, and devise improvement strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective collaboration on safety and compliance projects from problem definition to final execution with cross functional stakeholders; optimize the process and procures to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Identify the impact on users and markets ahead of feature launches and clearly communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Educate and update the business on Trust & Safety related programs and features via team and company wide sharing

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- 3 years of work experience in program or project management/consulting/strategy; a plus if with online safety/ risk control/regulatory compliance.
- Domain Experience: Experience in areas such as Trust & Safety, risk prevention, e-commerce, or social media.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, interpret key metrics, and develop improvement strategies.
- Technical Aptitude: Solid technical background and the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks.
- Leadership & Entrepreneurship: Ability to develop and lead new initiatives from the ground up and thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Professional working proficiency (written and oral) in English and Bahasa to support market specific requests for Malaysia/Indonesia amongst others (written and oral communication)
- Experienced in working closely with cross functional stakeholders such as legal, compliance and public relations teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualification(s)
- Experience with project management and coordination with regards to software products.
