Meta's Global Response Operations team works at the intersection of risk management and real-time decision making, ensuring that emerging threats, policy violations, and operational incidents are identified, assessed, and addressed at scale. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the India market, applying deep regional knowledge to evaluate risk signals, coordinate cross-functional response efforts, and help shape the frameworks that govern how Meta detects and mitigates harm across its platforms. You will work closely with policy, trust and safety, legal, and operations partners to deliver timely, well-reasoned responses to complex and evolving risk scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess risk signals, policy violations, and emerging threats specific to the India market, escalating issues through appropriate response channels
  • Evaluate complex incidents using established risk frameworks and exercise judgment to determine appropriate response actions and prioritization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including policy, legal, trust and safety, and operations teams to coordinate timely and effective incident responses
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation of response decisions, escalation paths, and operational procedures to support consistency and accountability
  • Analyze patterns in incident data to identify root causes and systemic vulnerabilities, and propose process improvements to address them
  • Handle, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform risk assessment decisions
  • Provide input into team-level goals and operational strategies by surfacing insights from market-specific risk trends
  • Engage stakeholders across internal teams to build alignment on response priorities and ensure shared understanding of risk posture
  • Adapt response approaches to reflect dynamic regulatory, political, and social conditions in the India market
  • Offer and seek actionable feedback with peers and partners to continuously improve response quality and operational effectiveness
  • Support the development and refinement of risk assessment criteria and response playbooks relevant to the India market context
  • This role may involve exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potentially objectionable material — i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, trust and safety, policy operations, or a related field
  • Fluency in written and conversational Hindi, required to review and assess Hindi-language content on the platform and coordinate with local-language stakeholders in the India market
  • Experience in analyzing complex, ambiguous situations and applying structured frameworks to determine the appropriate courses of action
  • Experience handling and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate operational responses or resolve issues with competing priorities
  • Experience communicating risk assessments, decisions, and recommendations clearly in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with the regulatory, political, and social landscape of the Indian market as it relates to platform integrity or content policy


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or visualization platforms to identify trends and anomalies in large-scale datasets
  • Experience contributing to the development or refinement of operational playbooks, response protocols, or risk classification frameworks
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Proficiency in additional Indian languages, required to review and assess regional-language content and support incident response across multiple linguistic markets in India
  • Experience working in a global operations or incident response environment and crisis response or operational structures on call
