Online Safety Associate

We are seeking an Online Safety Associate to support trust and safety operations, ensuring user and platform protection through effective content moderation and issue management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and a genuine passion for maintaining a safe and respectful online environment.

Requirements:
Experience in Trust & Safety operations, particularly in content moderation and online safety issues (e.g. graphic or violent material, exploitation, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable content).
Demonstrated experience managing urgent and high-priority cases to resolution.
Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information for varied audiences.
Deep understanding of the online safety landscape, including issues related to free expression and regulatory frameworks.
A proactive team player who can also operate independently.
Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Turkish language skills are a plus.
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, SQL, and AI-based moderation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Conduct objective, timely investigations into reported content to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
Manage and triage high-profile or time-sensitive issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Support crisis management activities by handling sensitive events and ensuring prompt communication and resolution.
Provide guidance and training to vendor or operations teams on enforcement practices.
Monitor and analyze risk and safety trends to identify emerging issues and inform process improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize escalation processes, enforcement workflows, and tools.
Translate insights from moderation activities into clear, actionable reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
