Key job responsibilities
Advertising Trust Policy team (AT Policy) is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Principal Policy Manager with excellent analytical abilities, exceptional problem solving skills, and creative vision for advertising that will enhance the customer experience with demonstrated experience leading through influence on initiatives that involve cross-functional teams. AT Policy sits at the nexus of numerous stakeholder relationships across a variety of Amazon businesses. We are a growing team with a unique position within Amazon Advertising. We work directly with Sales, Operations, Product, Retail, AppStore, Devices, Legal, PR, country leaders, and local marketing specialists, as well as Amazon Advertising’s senior leadership team.


A day in the life
In this role, you will build and develop relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders to support AT Policy’s work globally with an emphasis on content policies. You will own projects from project initiation, planning, execution, to launch including recommendations for technical requirements. You will continuously advocate for our customers by resolving ad policy escalations, drafting advertising policies for new products and custom creative campaigns, product development, and training on ad policies; demonstrating excellent judgment and creativity. Your responsibilities will include tracking, data analysis and reporting activities. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development)
- Experience in relevant public policy and advocacy on payments and financial services issues Preferred Qualifications: - 8+ years of regulatory frameworks and policy analysis methodologies experience
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
- Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing business risks and tradeoffs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
