Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Experience with Javascript, web programming technologies or developer relations.
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Ads or other similar tools.
  • Excellent execution, problem-solving, product insight, technical and creative skills.
  • Excellent communication and product storytelling skills.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Privacy Centric Measurement team's mission is to ensure that Google continues to serve the needs of our advertisers to understand their spend, while also maintaining a high level of privacy for our users.

As a Product Manager, you will work on firm-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to preserve the effectiveness of conversion measurement by maximizing and future-proofing observable conversions, filling the increasing gaps in unobservable conversions via ML, and partnering with browser/web community/ad-tech industry to support digital economy while preserving user-privacy. You will join a team that has an impact across a broad array of Google products and to define the next generation of digital marketing and measurement technology.

We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a thought leader in how Google can continue to deliver exceptional measurement in a privacy first world.
  • Define the goal for how conversion measurement evolves given ecosystem, regulatory and industry changes.
  • Create new types of privacy-preserving modeling solutions and drive improvements to the current set of models to ensure Google protects and grows its Ads business generation in a privacy safe way. 
  • Work and collaborate across Google's other measurement products (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Marketing Platform, etc.) to achieve consistency in measurement while helping them navigate the privacy paradigm shift for their users.
