About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead Ryt Bank’s Trust and Safety Pod, owning fraud and scam prevention, AML and CFT controls, and secure, low friction authentication and account access.

You will work closely with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Fraud Ops, Customer Support, Data, and external vendors to ship controls that reduce losses, meet regulatory expectations, and keep genuine customers moving.

What you will do

Own the Trust and Safety roadmap and delivery across fraud, scams, AML and CFT, authentication, and account recovery, translating risk and regulatory requirements into product capabilities.

Work closely with the onboarding product team to define best in class authentication services and experiences across onboarding, login, step up, and recovery, applying necessary friction only where it materially reduces risk.

Design and continuously improve authentication and step up journeys for onboarding, login, high risk actions, and recovery, balancing security, conversion, and usability.

Build and tune fraud and scam controls across the customer journey, including rules and decisioning, risk scoring integration, transaction monitoring, beneficiary and mule mitigations, confirmations, and customer protections.

Partner with internal fraud teams and Compliance to operationalise controls and workflows, manage false positives, and ensure investigation and case handling is fast and auditable.

Own vendor integrations and performance, define requirements and success metrics, and ensure controls are measurable, explainable, and resilient.

Define and run the Trust and Safety metrics cadence, covering fraud and scam loss, account takeover, false positive rate, step up rate, authentication success, recovery success, disputes, and related customer complaints.

What we are looking for

4 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in fraud, identity, security, payments risk, AML, compliance, or trust and safety within a bank, fintech, payments, or large consumer platform.

Strong judgement in security versus experience tradeoffs, able to reduce risk without creating unnecessary friction for genuine users.

Ability to turn ambiguous threats and policy requirements into clear requirements, phased roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

Comfortable working with technical and operational systems such as risk engines, rules, device signals, identity verification, transaction monitoring, case management, and audit logging.

Strong data fluency, able to diagnose issues, prioritise fixes, and validate impact through metrics and controlled change.

Strong cross functional leadership, able to align teams and drive execution across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Ops, and Support.

Nice to have

Experience in regulated environments and audit readiness.

Familiarity with scam and fraud typologies, account takeover, mule risk, and social engineering mitigations.

Experience managing vendors for fraud and identity solutions.
