About The Role

As the Program Manager of Ad Policy, you will sit at the intersection of product, legal, and sales. Your mission is to protect our users from deceptive practices while ensuring a fair and transparent ecosystem for legitimate advertisers. You will be responsible for drafting, implementing, and scaling advertising policies as well as continuously optimizing processes.

What You'll Do

  • Policy Development: Draft and refine global advertising policies, ensuring they are clear, enforceable, and aligned with evolving regional regulations (e.g., DSA, GDPR)
  • Incident Management: Act as a lead for high-priority policy escalations, making rapid, data-driven decisions on sensitive or controversial ad content
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering to build automated enforcement tools and with Sales to educate advertisers on compliance
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and bad actor tactics. Conduct "red-teaming" exercises to identify gaps in existing policy frameworks
  • Operational Excellence: Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of policy enforcement and the impact on advertiser friction, driving continuous improvement in "Time to Action" metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of professional experience in Ad Tech, Trust & Safety, or Content Policy
  • Previous experience managing DSP/SSP, real-time bidding, and ad creative review processes
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualfications:

  • Experience with GenAI
  • The ideal candidate will possess:
    • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital advertising lifecycle (DSP/SSP, real-time bidding, and ad creative review processes)
    • Analytical Rigor: Ability to use data to identify patterns of policy abuse and justify policy changes to executive stakeholders
    • Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex legal or technical concepts into simple, actionable guidelines
    • Judgment: Proven track record of making difficult decisions in "grey areas" where policy and business interests may conflict
