Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management in a regulatory compliance, risk or controls related role.
  • Experience managing stakeholders at different levels.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing expectations, needs, and priorities of executive internal stakeholders based on the overall goal and program success.
  • Experience managing programs or projects, ideally in a large, complex or regulated environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

As a Program Manager in the Reg Controls & Audit team, you will provides critical support and expertise across Trust & Safety.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams across T&S, Global Affairs and the product areas to ensure we have full visibility of the most important regulations impacting our business.
  • Be able to program manage and prioritize efforts to ensure existing processes and controls meet regulatory obligations, enhancing controls and metrics to monitor compliance health and effectiveness.
  • Identify and drive efficiencies within and cross-Regulatory Governance & Programs/T&S work streams via AI, automation and data-driven solutions. 
  • Be highly adaptable to ensure we can shift to new and emerging priorities and different ways of working across Trust & Safety. 
  • Assess tooling needs to achieve centralized management of compliance activities. Support development of data and metrics that help others understand the compliance landscape and related work.
