Manager
The Latin America Public Policy team is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join us as a Public Policy Manager as part of the Product, Regulation and Strategy team, leading AI-native projects, ad-hoc events and projects, regional narrative development, and strategic internal communications infrastructure. This role sits at the center of the team's cross-functional work within the company and has a regional scope — building the AI-driven workflows that scale the team's capacity, shaping the team's positioning and narratives, quantifying the impact of the team's policy work, and ensuring leadership and global teams have consistent visibility into LATAM policy developments. Experience is welcome from government, regulatory bodies, international organizations, think tanks, or the technology sector, combined with program management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional projects, track milestones, and manage timelines, and experience translating complex technical and regulatory issues for non-specialist audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI-native projects, designing and scaling workflows that multiply team capacity and improve the speed and consistency of policy analysis on regulatory, product and impact measurement for the region
- Develop and maintain the regional narratives library, working internally to obtain general narratives and adapt them to local teams' needs for regional policy engagements
- Produce the team's core communications to leadership, keeping regional and global leadership current on policy developments
- Lead ad-hoc events and projects, coordinating cross-functionally to deliver against regional policy priorities
- Manage budgets and contract coordination for the team
- Get involved in specific product analysis when needed, communicating feature developments across local and global teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law, political science, international affairs, economics
- 5+ years of experience in public policy, tech, advocacy, government affairs, or related fields
- Experience designing and applying AI tools and operational processes for policy research, analysis, and related workflows
- Experience in framing complex issues through narratives, presentations, memos, and briefings
- Experience in developing metrics, quantitative analysis, measurement frameworks, and/or impact assessments, and translating them into reports for senior stakeholders
- Fluent in English, as the role requires regular communication with global leadership and cross-functional teams
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, as the role supports policy efforts across Latin America
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience working on AI policy, digital economy, or internet policy issues and experience in analyzing regulatory developments in Latin America
- Experience working in the technology industry
- Master's degree in law, political science, international affairs, data science, or economics
