We are seeking a Public Policy Manager for our Integrity Regulation Team to help shape the company’s response to content regulation. You will join a dynamic global team that spans across Meta’s response to emerging digital regulation. A typically Public Policy Manager will lead cross-functional projects and partner with Product teams, to support the business in navigating regulation and defending freedom of expression. Responsibilities

  • Support the team’s goals to drive company alignment on global content regulation strategy
  • Coordinate the Policy organization’s contributions to regulatory readiness processes
  • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders – such as product, legal, and operations teams – to develop and implement compliance strategies for Meta’s regulatory obligations
  • Support relevant leadership teams in making decisions about regulatory topics that balance multiple criteria and key company values such as promoting freedom of expression
  • Develop and prioritize mitigations to reduce on-platform risk
  • Monitor, research, and analyze current and emerging digital regulation issues and trends at the international level, keeping stakeholders across the company informed of trends and developments
  • Communicate complex topics orally and in writing to a broad range of internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Seven+ years of experience engaging or working in project management or product development
  • Experience working on content moderation issues
  • Experience working in the technology sector
  • Experience planning and executing cross-functional initiatives, including partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and in writing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with state, national, or international policymaking institutions and organizations
