About the Team
The Trust & Safety Policy team develops and reviews our community policies to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our Users and Content Creators to enjoy and express themselves.

As a Regional High Harm Policy Lead, you will be leading a high-performing team in driving policy enhancement and implementation to ensure the safety of our users.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of policy professionals responsible for creating and implementing product policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring policy alignment with product teams, legal, compliance, and regulatory bodies.
- Translate evolving business requirements into clear policy frameworks and drive strategic initiatives to scale product policies across regions.
- Act as a global escalation point of contact, align all stakeholders, and respond to emergency content safety-related cases.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in people management, leading small/medium multi-cultural teams
- Significant experience in policy, policy enforcement, or public policy, specifically in technology/social media/content
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of working closely with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of product policies in the tech sector, including digital services and platforms, especially on high-harm related policies
- Willingness to engage directly with policy challenges, get involved in operational tasks, and provide hands-on support to your team when needed.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory, business, and legal requirements and translate them into actionable policies.
- Willingness to dive into details and work at both strategic and operational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
- Southeast Asia market experience
- Experience in fast-growth tech environments or startups
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to lead a team in an environment with shifting priorities and rapid changes
- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
