The Role
As a Research Integrity Specialist, you will engage with leading researchers from various academic disciplines and build a robust network with dedicated and passionate publishing professionals. Leveraging your academic background, you will transition into the realm of publication ethics, becoming a specialist in issues related to publishing ethics and research integrity. Your contributions will help ensure that groundbreaking research is published and accessible to everyone.

As a Research Integrity Specialist, you will:
Pre-screen manuscript submissions across a range of journals or journal sections.
Work closely with internal teams, external researchers, and academics on all matters related to research integrity in academic publishing, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest.
Utilize cutting-edge technology and data analytics to uphold our commitment to quality at scale.
Investigate high-level post-publication concerns, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
You hold a Master's degree or higher in a scientific field, or a BSc degree with prior experience in academic/STM publishing.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss sensitive topics clearly and discreetly.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle ambiguity with resilience and maturity.
You manage your time efficiently, prioritize urgency, and take proactive measures when necessary.
You are fluent in English (C2 level).
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from the office (London/Madrid) for three days a week, with the option to work remotely for two days a week.
