Role Overview

As a Risk & Compliance Manager, you will own the development and execution of Muvr’s risk management and compliance programs. You will identify operational, regulatory, and marketplace risks, implement controls, and partner cross-functionally to ensure Muvr operates safely, responsibly, and in alignment with legal and industry standards.

This role is ideal for someone highly detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in building scalable compliance and risk systems in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own risk and compliance strategy across marketplace operations, safety, and regulatory requirements
  
• Identify, assess, and mitigate key risks related to drivers, customers, merchants, and service delivery
  
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, internal controls, and operational playbooks
  
• Partner with Legal, Operations, Product, and Trust & Safety teams to implement scalable compliance systems
  
• Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations impacting logistics and delivery services
  
• Investigate incidents, fraud, or operational breaches and drive resolution processes
  
• Track and report risk KPIs, compliance metrics, and audit readiness
  
• Build training programs and documentation to ensure organization-wide compliance awareness

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, trust & safety, or operational governance roles
  
• Strong understanding of regulatory and operational risk frameworks
  
• Proven ability to build scalable processes and controls in fast-paced environments
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
  
• High attention to detail and strong judgment in ambiguous situations
  

Preferred

• Experience in marketplaces, logistics, mobility, or on-demand service platforms
  
• Familiarity with fraud prevention, safety programs, and incident response workflows
  
• Experience working with audits, regulatory bodies, or compliance certifications
  
• Passion for building trust, safety, and operational excellence at scale
