Security and Access Manager, Risk Compliance and Governance

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
Experience in privacy, security, or compliance, and with privacy principles and technologies along with experience in consulting or developing and communicating strategy at executive level for decision making with recommendations using fact/data based approach.
Experience in program management and managing cross-functional projects.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in fluid environment.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

This role is key to enabling Global Vendor Operations (GVO's) security. and access operations to support the growth of vendor support roles including AI enabled solutions. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with various teams, including product management, engineering, and legal, to balance risk mitigation with business enablement. With your proble-solving and technical skills, you will develop and implement programs, frameworks, and policies that address new solutions needed to support growing complexity in outsourced support solutions that may also involve Agentic AI across text and multi-modal applications for self-help support and troubleshooting use-cases.

Please note : Role requires US based cross-functional collaboration in order to deliver the Governance Solutions. As a result, you must be willing to work between the hours of 2PM-1AM IST Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, engineering, and legal teams to balance business needs with risk mitigation.
Create and implement new programs, frameworks, and policies to manage the complexities of outsourced support, particularly those that use AI.
Consult on policies, testing controls, managing risk reports, and ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.
