Security Operations Engineer

As our platforms continue to scale, we are investing heavily in security, abuse prevention, trust infrastructure, and intelligent monitoring systems to protect users, organizations, assessments, and verification workflows.

We are looking for an AI Security Operations Engineer to help us build scalable systems for detecting abuse, monitoring suspicious behavior, automating investigations, and strengthening platform trust.

About the Role

As an AI Security Operations Engineer at Internset, you will work on building the infrastructure and automation systems that power our internal security and abuse-detection workflows.

You will help design intelligent monitoring systems, behavioral analytics pipelines, automated investigation tooling, and AI-assisted detection frameworks across Internset’s ecosystem.

This role combines security engineering, automation, AI tooling, behavioral analytics, and platform integrity.

Responsibilities

• Build automated systems to detect suspicious or abusive activity across Internset platforms
• Develop internal tooling for monitoring:
• Fake internship activity
• Credential abuse
• Fraudulent assessments
• Account misuse
• Bot-driven behavior
• Identity manipulation attempts
• Build data pipelines and intelligence workflows for collecting and analyzing platform signals
• Create internal dashboards, alerting systems, and investigation tooling for security operations
• Integrate AI-assisted analysis into moderation and investigation workflows
• Work with engineering teams to improve platform-level trust and safety systems
• Build scalable logging and behavioral analytics infrastructure
• Continuously improve detection quality while reducing false positives

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

• Strong coding skills in Python, Rust, Solidity, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies
• Experience with:

• Monitoring infrastructure
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, scraping systems, or automation frameworks
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and platform-security fundamentals

• Ability to independently build systems from concept to deployment
