As part of the Advertising Trust Policy team, you will have high visibility across Amazon business lines, establishing the right customer experience and long-term strategy for the success of Amazon Advertising. We are a global and diverse team with a long tenure in online advertising, expertise in developing customer experience solutions for highly complex situations, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the policy authority for product and engineering teams, translating policy requirements into detailed technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and scalable enforcement solutions across Amazon's advertising portfolio
- Own end-to-end program management for multiple concurrent policy initiatives, from concept through launch and post-launch optimization, including roadmap development, dependency management, and implementation quality tracking
- Proactively identify and mitigate policy, legal, and brand safety risks by auditing product roadmaps and feature designs, conducting impact assessments, and developing data-driven mitigation strategies before features reach production
- Lead cross-functional decision-making forums with Product, Engineering, Legal, and senior leadership, clearly articulating complex policy trade-offs and securing necessary approvals to maintain platform integrity
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across Advertising Trust, product teams (Sponsored Ads, DSP, Prime Video Ads, Twitch), Publisher teams, and central policy organizations to drive alignment and execution
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline policy implementation processes, developing scalable self-service frameworks, and staying current on industry trends and emerging trust & safety challenges

As a member of the Advertising Trust's Policy & Integrity team, you'll work across Amazon's business lines to shape customer experience and long-term strategy for Amazon Advertising. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. We seek innovative, customer-obsessed individuals who think deeply about complex challenges.

About the team
The Advertising Trust Policy team owns global ad policies across all Ad products and Amazon Publishers. This dynamic team is an integral part of how we support Amazon Advertising and as such has touch points across multiple areas of our business. We make a customer impact with every ad we serve and pride ourselves on doing so with a customer centric focus. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- 7+ years of experience in Trust & Safety Policy, Business Integrity, Product Operations, or Policy Development at a technology company Preferred Qualifications: - MBA, or Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field
- Experience (technical and operational) with multiple domain areas of programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, etc.)
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience developing or enforcing advertising policies for Search, Display, Video, or Streaming ad formats across major digital platforms
- Background in policy risk assessment for Machine Learning (ML) systems, including content classification models or behavioral enforcement systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
