We are seeking a Senior Driver Operations Manager who will not back down in the face of challenge, who is ready to try new things and is ready to make history together with the rest of the team at Lalamove. Reporting to the Director, Driver Operations, this person will drive cross-departmental projects that strengthen Lalamoveā€™s supply ecosystem and protect the integrity of our marketplace, and scale validated learnings to improve supply quantity and quality across assigned marketsĀ

What you'll do

  • Build and lead a small team to improve key pillars of Lalamoveā€™s supply ecosystem, including lifecycle management, anti-fraud, service quality, and safety.

  • Build global standards for critical lifecycle events and supply policies to ensure compliance and operational agility across all markets

  • Identify gaps between Standard Operating Procedures and on-ground execution to improve market performance

  • Work closely with functional and local stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of cross-functional projects

  • Closely communicate and collaborate with representatives of assigned markets to facilitate understanding, initiatives planning and execution, learnings, implementation, and enforcement to address local problems and opportunities


What you'll need

  • At least 5 years of experience in Operations, Trust & Safety, or Platform Governance within a high-growth marketplace (e.g. Logistics, Food Delivery, or Ride-hailing)

  • At least 2 years of experience in output-driven management

  • Strong stakeholder management and project management experience to drive and influence the success of cross-functional projects

  • High proficiency in English and strong communication skills to translate complex problems into actionable plans across different regions

  • Analytical and data-driven, must be comfortable using data and curious about facts, able to empathize with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, and willing to dig deep and understand underlying root causes

  • Ability to champion new processes from plan to close

  • Positive, passionate, proactive, highly self-initiative, and attentive to details

  • Immediate availability is preferred
